The CCPWC Lab cum Training Centre was inaugurated by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Shri. Y. Patton at Police Training School Chumukedima on 15/08/2019, the first Cyber Lab of the State Police Department.
The Cyber Forensic Lab is equipped with Cyber Forensic tools and Mobile Forensic tools for Extraction, Imaging, Data Recovery, Password recovery and analysis of Digital Devices. Further, the facility also has a training centre to impart training to police personnel with regard to cyber crime investigation.
