A written FIR was received from Head GB of Bhandari Town stating that two persons had sold off their own children. Accordingly a case vide Bhandari PS C/No. 02/16 U/S 372 IPC was registered and both the accused were arrested. A middle man who trafficked the children was also arrested. Four children (Three female and one male) of one of the accused and two children (one male and one female) of the other accused were rescued by the district police from different locations in Dimapur and Wokha districts.
